######### Judy & Gordon Shaw - Founders and Owners of Richmond Olympiad Gymnastics. Judy and Gordon have B.S. & M.S. degrees in Health & Physical education and have been teaching for 51 years. They taught for both the Richmond and Chesterfield public school systems. In 1970, the first Olympiad was opened and has since been an intregal part in the physical and educational development of tens of thousands of Richmond area children. The Shaw's are recognized for their outstanding contributions to the gymnastics industry in the United States.  Their commitment to children and athletic excellence is an inspiration!

Facility: Trade
Graduates of the Moscow Sports Academy, Larissa is an International Judge. Boris coached the Moscow Region's Olympic Level Women's Team for over seventeen years. 42 years of coaching experience in Russia and the USA. International coaching.

Facility: Hanover & West End/Gaskins Centre
B.A. in political Science form Emory and Henry College. 7-time state champion, 4-time AAU Junior Olympic Champion, U.S. National Champion. 15 years with Richmond Olympiad.

Graduate of the Moscow Sports Academy. Coach at St. Kashira, Moscow Region's Olympic Level Women's Team for over twenty years. 39 years coaching experience in Russia and the USA. International coaching.

Attended Odessa College.  Thirty five years gymnastics coaching experience. Over 23 years with the Olympiad.

Coaches Lv 3,4,5,6,7 at our Trade Road Facility along with recreational classes at our Trade & Gaskins locations. Bailey studied at J.Sargeant College and LA Stunt School. She was a gymnast here at Richmond Olympiad for 8 years leaving at the optional level and has been coaching at the Olympiad for 9 years.

Graduated from Ohio State where Alex competed men’s gymnastics. Alex was an athlete for over 16 years and has been coaching for 23 years.

Gymnastics competitor for 11 years. Slated for the Atlanta Olympics and had to scratch due to medical reasons. Spent four year as an acrobat in the Russian circus. 8 years with the Richmond Olympiad.

Facility: Chesterfield Airport
B.S. in Mathematics from VCU and graduate study in Education. Competitive gymnasts for 8 years through level 7. 11 years with Richmond Olympiad since age 14.

Facility: Gaskins/Hanover/Chesterfield Airport
Went to William & Mary University, competed men’s gymnastics and is currently studying nursing at John Tyler. Cory has 13 years of gymnastics experience as an athlete and 11 years of coaching experience.
